Originally from San Luis Obispo, California, Dr. Kasper has called San Francisco home for the past nine years. He graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. He then completed his orthodontic residency and earned a Master of Science in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he currently serves as part-time faculty in the Department of Orthodontics.
Dr. Kasper is a board certified orthodontist and remains closely involved in academic orthodontics. He participates in Invisalign® study clubs, attends annual continuing education courses, and teaches the orthodontic appliances course for residents at UCSF. This ongoing involvement allows him to stay at the forefront of orthodontic advancements and biomechanics, ensuring his patients receive the most efficient and effective care possible.
Connecting with people and helping them achieve confident, healthy smiles is the reason Dr. Kasper chose to pursue a career in the field of orthodontics. He values the relationships he forms with patients and takes pride in using his skills to positively impact their lives. He believes that the confidence gained from a healthy, beautiful smile can be life-changing and feels grateful to play a role in that journey.
Outside the office, Dr. Kasper enjoys working with his hands through a variety of creative and technical projects. He designs and builds custom surfboards, works on cars, and enjoys learning new languages, currently speaking Italian and Spanish. Additionally, he volunteers his time teaching a weekly Bible study class for high school students and participates in community outreach events whenever possible. He values these opportunities to connect with others and considers them some of his most rewarding and memorable experiences.
